Posted on September 17, 2022September 17, 2022 By James Kerr

Breukelen, Netherlands-based singer/songwriter, Cindy_louise, delivers her third single of 2022 with the song, “Woman of My Own Damn Mind.” Cindy_louise is a South African born artist who began working on music in 2019. Her single, “Woman of My Own Damn Mind” is a bluesy indie pop anthem for women’s empowerment. The song features rugged guitar riffs, groovy bass, and focused drums that set the stage for Cindy_louise’s powerful vocals as she strives to find inner peace despite increasing standards for women. Speaking on the song, Cindy_louise stated, “I have struggled so long with trying to be the ‘perfect woman,’ and as I get older the standards get higher and more difficult to reach. Then I stopped and thought, ‘Why do I even care? I just want to be myself and be happy.'” “Woman of My Own Damn Mind” is an extremely empowering track and the perfect addition to any indie rock or indie pop playlist.
