Highroad No. 28 – “Ache”

Posted on December 9, 2025December 9, 2025 By James Kerr

Melbourne, Australia-based alternative rock band Highroad No. 28 has returned with its new single, “Ache.” Highroad No. 28 is an emerging band that made waves in 2008 with their album, Stumbling Into Divinity. After over a decade, that band is back with a string of releases leading up to their new album, The Will to Endure. Their new single, “Ache,” is a haunting track that blends elements of alternative rock, indie rock, and dark pop. Dusty guitars, ethereal synths, fuzzy bass, and blasting drums immerse the listener in a grungy soundscape. Moody vocals illuminate the track with an angsty presence. Highroad No. 28’s new single, “Ache,” is a powerful rock anthem and the perfect addition to any indie playlist. Learn more about Highroad No. 28 on Bandcamp and listen to “Ache” below.

“Ache” by Highroad No. 28 was released to digital streaming platforms on November 1st, 2025, and is now playing on Indie Rock Hits.
