Tampa, Florida-based singer/songwriter Lisa Jo links up with rapper J-Mac for the new album, Hood Rats. Lisa Jo and J-Mac began their collaborative journey in 2025 with the single, “Lord of the Night.” Their latest release, Hood Rats, is a 13-track project that blends elements of gangsta rap and conscious hip-hop. Thick synths, funky bass lines, and hard-hitting drums immerse the listener in an array of old-school soundscapes. J-Mac delivers reality-influenced bars inspired by tales of the hood complimented by melodic hooks from Lisa Jo. The combination results in a classic rap experience filled with rugged bangers.
