Hagen, Germany-based folk group The Cumberland River Project has unveiled their new EP, Meet Me in the Rain. The Cumberland Project is a musical vision helmed by musician Frank Renfordt. Their latest release, Meet Me in the Rain, is a wonderful 6-track EP that blends elements of country, folk, and singer/songwriter. Warm guitar melodies, emotional key, smooth bass, and light drums immerse the listener in an array of Americana-influenced soundscapes. Soothing vocals caress the instrumentation with tender melodies. Now in his 60’s, Frank is able to provide insightful wisdom on life, love, and fulfilment. The Cumberland Project’s new EP, Meet Me in the Rain, is a nostalgic folk journey and the perfect addition to any Americana playlist.
