Born Astray – “Dangerous”

Posted on October 21, 2022October 21, 2022 By James Kerr

New Orleans, Louisiana-based emo rock band, Born Astray, deliver their third single with the song, “Dangerous.” Born Astray is an indie rock group comprised of members, Jesse Roger (guitar), Ryan Henriquez (bass), Sean Doria (drums), and Cody Pala (lead vocals), who released their debut single, “The Story You Sell,” in 2021. Their latest single, “Dangerous,” features rugged riffs, blasting drums, and powerfully angsty vocals. Born Astray are currently working on their debut album, Kinsey Six Genesis. Speaking on the album’s tone, the band says, “Thematically, the album addresses the challenges vocalist Pala faced coming out of the closet at the later years of adolescence, and subsequently having to have a second “coming-of-age” in his twenties due to the lack of authenticity in his teen years.” Born Astray’s latest single, “Dangerous,” is a heavy emo-rock anthem and the perfect addition to any indie-rock playlist. “Dangerous” by Born Astray was released to digital streaming platforms on October 21, 2022 and is now playing on Senocular Top Picks.
