Litvar – “You Should Find A New Boyfriend”

Posted on October 31, 2022October 31, 2022 By James Kerr

Willimantic, Connecticut-based indie-band, Litvar, thinks, “You Should Find A New Boyfriend.” Litvar is a genre-bending American-rock trio composed of members, Rex Thurstan, Violet Falkowski, and Joe Lemieux, who bring a relatable small-town vibe to the indie-rock scene. Their latest single, “You Should Find A New Boyfriend,” begins as a catchy pop romp and develops into a more rugged track about halfway through when the drums drop and the guitars pick up the energy. Speaking on the cration of the song, Litvar stated, “Sonically, ‘Boyfriend’ is us playing with dynamics, exploring our electronic pop influences and satisfying our thirst for huge modern rock choruses. Lyrically, it’s about searching for space while being swallowed by anxiety, using the idea of begging for air in a strangling relationship.” Litvar’s new single, “You Should Find A New Boyfriend,” is a refreshing rock-pop jam and the perfect addition to any indie-rock or pop playlist. Watch the official music video below.

“You Should Find A New Boyfriend” by Litvar was released to digital streaming platforms on October 28th, 2022 and is now playing on Senocular Top Picks.
