Movment – “Violence”

Posted on November 18, 2022November 18, 2022 By James Kerr

Mullingar, Ireland-based rock band, Movment, follows up their 2022 album, Transformation, with the single, “Violence.” Movment is an alt-rock band who released their debut album, Break Down, in 2012. Their latest single, “Violence,” is a high-paced post-punk jam with rugged riffs and angsty vocals which set to fight back against the day-today hesitation that we face. Speaking on the song’s concept, the band stated, “The song is about anger, rage, and the turmoil in our heads at times of intense pressure. Ask yourself what has brought us to this state? We hold ourselves back. We pause. We hesitate. It is better to move forward. Drive onwards. Take risks.” Movment’s latest single, “Violence,” is a heavy, raucous, post-punk jam and the perfect addition to any punk rock or indie rock playlist. “Violence” by Movment was released to digital streaming platforms on November 11th, 2022 and is now playing on Punk’s Not Dead.
