Blue Lush – “So I’m Sorry”

Posted on November 19, 2022November 19, 2022 By James Kerr

New York City, New York-based alternative-rock band, Blue Lush, deliver their second single, “So I’m Sorry.” Blue Lush was formed in 2019 by members, Matt McKeon, Katherine Aybar, and Tina Miller met though the Music Therapy Program at Molloy College, and two years later added bassist Polly Frances and Drummer Alex Digiovanna to the group. Their latest single, “So I’m Sorry,” is a melancholy rock-pop song with huge riffs, somber melodies, and a powerful vocal performance. Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, the band stated, “‘So I’m Sorry’ is about knowing that you should walk away from a situation that doesn’t serve you. However, the fear of letting go makes that difficult to do. You’re angry and frustrated for putting up with being treated poorly, so you sing your truth as the solution.” Blue Lush’s latest single, “So I’m Sorry,” is an anthemic indie-rock banger and the perfect edition to any alternative-rock playlist.
