Los Angeles, California-based alt-pop band, Songs For Sabotage, delivers their cover of the Chromatics song, “Shadow.” Songs for Sabotage is an electronic rock duo composed of members, Lina Sophie and Richie Rose, who met in 2017 and released their debut album, Night of Joy, in 2020. Fresh off of tour, their latest single is a dark-pop rendition of “Shadows.” The group uses dusty synths and minor keys to bring out the dark side of the track and make it their own. Rugged synths, pounding drums, and a haunting vocal performance from Lina makes this song a truly nostalgic dark-pop banger and the perfect addition to any synth-pop playlist. Songs For Sabotage are currently in progress of recording their second album which is slated for 2023.
