BIAS – “Love will tear us apart”

Posted on December 12, 2022December 12, 2022 By James Kerr

Imola, Italy-based new wave producer, BIAS, delivers theirs sixth single of 2022 with their cover of Joy Division’s “Love will tear us apart.” BIAS is the musical alter-ego of producer Gian Luca Biasini, who started making music at age 6 and began releasing music as BIAS in 2022 with the single, “Noiro.” His latest release takes the classic song, “Love will tear us apart,” and completely reworks it, incorporating fluttering synths and featuring Lorenzo Montaxx Montanari, former vocalist of the band Light This Night, who delivers a chillingly powerful vocal performance. “Love will tear us apart” is a haunting song which dives into the existential nature and suffering displayed in our reality. BIAS and Lorenzo knock this tribute to Joy Division out of the park with their collaborative effort making it the perfect addition to any new wave or synth-pop playlist. “Love will tear us apart” by BIAS was released to digital streaming platforms on October 10th, 2022 and is now playing on Senocular Top Picks.
