Harlow’s Monkeys – “you don’t have to change if you don’t want to”

Posted on January 13, 2023January 13, 2023 By James Kerr

San Francisco, California-based indie rock band, Harlow’s Monkeys, deliver their first single of 2023 with the song, “you don’t have to change if you don’t want to.” Harlow’s Monkey’s is an indie rock band, fronted by songwriter/producer Tommy P, who released their debut EP, Lucky, in 2017. Their latest single, “you don’t have to change if you don’t want to,” is a brazen rock jam which comes on the heels of New Year’s Day to let the listener know that they don’t have to change, but it is within their personal responsibility to do so. The track features warm guitars, punchy drums, and melancholy yet hopeful vocal performance meant to empower and breakout of a monotonous cycle. Harlow’s Monkey’s latest single, “you don’t have to change if you don’t want to,” is an anthemic indie rock jam which is perfect for any indie playlist.
