Occurrence – “Fudge”

Posted on January 27, 2023January 27, 2023 By James Kerr

New York City, New York-based electro pop band, Occurrence, delivers their first single of 2023 with the song, “Fudge.” Occurrence is an art pop trio consisting of members, Ken Urban (electronics/synths/beats), Cat Hollyer (vocals/flute), and Johnny Hager (vocals) who released their debut album, The Past Will Live Forever, in 2016. Their latest single, “Fudge,” is a hard-hitting electronic pop track which encompasses glitchy synths, deep bass, and industrial style drums which set the stage for a powerfully emotive vocal performance. Speaking on the track, Ken stated, “We wanted to make a grand statement,” he says, “to be more expansive, to fully reflect our collective experiences, traumatic and ecstatic, over the past two years.” “Fudge” is the second single released from Occurrence’s upcoming full-length album, Slow Violence. Occurrence’s latest single, “Fudge,” is a heavy electronic pop track and the perfect addition to any art pop playlist. “Fudge” by Occurrence was released to digital streaming platforms on January 17th, 2023 and is now playing on Gaming Beats.
