Redondo Beach, California-based musician, Jokyo harnesses “Sweet Nostalgia” with his latest single. This track features a deep and unique sound highlighted by a somber string loop, heavy bass, and punchy drums. Jokyo spits rhythmic bars over the self-produced abstract beat. The singer, producer and instrumentalist says that he is inspired by old school hip-hop and rap as well as newer abstract hip-hop acts such as BROCKHAMPTON and Tyler The Creator. Since working on a solo musical path, Jokyo has released an album, an EP, and his latest single, “Sweet Nostalgia.”
“Sweet Nostalgia” by Jokyo was released to digital streaming platforms on February 28th, 2022 and is now playing on Senocular Media’s Lyrical Lemonade.
