New Orleans, Louisiana-based indie-pop artist, Austin West, delivers his first single of 2023 with the song, “Run Home.” Austin West is an Army musician who began releasing music independently with the release of his 2022 single, “Game Over.” His latest single, “Run Home,” is a lush synth-pop jam which encompasses euphoric synths, funky bass, and splashy percussion which sets up the warm retrowave vibe of the song and gives Austin the neon platform to deliver his ethereal vocal performance. The song delivers an 80s nostalgia, as Austin has always found himself influenced by the decade stating, “I’ve always loved the 80’s. The nostalgia, music and movies behind the decade. I like to think I was born in the wrong era and I am encompassing it through my music.” Austin West’s new single, “Run Home,” is a certified synth rock banger and the perfect addition to any indie playlist.
