Eskilstuna, Sweden-based jazz rock band, The Electric MZ, deliver their first single of 2023, with the release of, “Dawn.” The Electric MZ are a groove-based band consisting of members, Stefan Wistrand (tenor sax, bass clarinet, electronics), David Lindh (guitar), Johannes Rytzler (keyboards), Mattias Greén (bass), and Johan Carlsson (drums), who released their debut album, Silent in the Murmur, in 2014. Their latest single, “Dawn,” is a psychedelic jazz instrumental infused with elements of chillwave, dream pop, and lounge, as well as other genres and influences. “Dawn” is the second single released from The Electric MZ’s vinyl album, Tales of Trees, which is being release digitally in August. The Electric MZ’s new release, “Dawn,” is a euphoric chillwave jam and the perfect addition to any avant-garde playlist.
