San Diego, California-based indie band, JUNK, returns with the new single, “We Call It JUNK.” JUNK is a multi-genre band who released their debut single, “Chromatose,” in 2022. Their latest single, “We Call It JUNK,” is a defining piece of music which detail the concept behind their unique style of music. The band named their signature sound, JUNK, after blending elements of funk, punk jazz, soul, hip-hop and more. JUNK is the gumbo of music and “We Call It JUNK” embodies the genre. The track is fueled by jazzy sax, funky bass, hip-hop verses, and soulful hooks. JUNK’s new new release, “We Call It JUNK,” is a melting pot of musical genres making it a great addition to any playlist from jazz, hip-hop and soul.
