Posted on November 11, 2023November 11, 2023 By James Kerr

Petersfield, United Kingdom-based indie rock band Mark Vennis & Different Place delivers their second single of 2023, with the release of, “Small Town Vampire.” Mark Vennis & Different Place is a rock band consisting of members, Mark Vennis (guitar/vocals), Dave Sweetenham (bass), Sean Quinn (guitar/backing vocals), and Duncan Lefurve (drums/keyboard), who released their debut album A Beautiful Lie or the Ugly Truth in 2018. Their latest release, “Small Time Vampire,” is a punky indie rock jam about a burnt out resident of a small town who picks on the next generation to hold on to his youth. The track is fueled by crunchy guitar riffs, rugged bass, and stiff drums that set the stage for Mark’s angsty vocal performance that detail the average night out for a “Small Town Vampire.” Mark Vennis & Different Place’s new single, “Small Time Vampire,” is a moody punk hit and the perfect addition to any indie playlist.
