Orlando, Florida-based hardcore punk band, Call In Dead, tears down the “Patriarchy” with their latest single. This is a high-paced hardcore punk rock track to the core. “Patriarchy” is Call In Dead’s first single with new lead singer, Ripley, who has already had a huge influence on the direction of the band, with bandmates stating, “She has brought all the aggression of their former singer plus powerful lyrics that couldn’t have come at a more important time since we are a Florida band and our governor has passed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill which could have severe impact on the LGBTQ+ community.” The message of ths song is laid out simply in the final lyrics, “Fuck your gender norms!”
