Brisbane, Australia-based pop group Gunning for Allie returns with the new single, “Alive.” Gunning for Allie is an indie-pop duo consisting of members, Joshua Mulheran and James Waters, who released their debut EP, Everyday War, in 2018. Their latest release, “Alive,” is a stunning pop hit highlight by it’s use of lush synths, driving bass, and vivid drums. Joshua delivers a powerful vocal performance that cuts through the instrumentation and takes the listener on a nostalgic journey reflecting on the passing of a close friend.
