Ottawa, Canada-based indie pop band Wotts delivers their sixth single of 2023, with the release of, “WANNABE.” Wotts is an electronic pop duo formed by members, Jayem and Ricky 100, who released their debut single “Before” in 2021. Their latest release “WANNABE” is a lush synth pop jam about waiting and longing to feel loved. The instrumentation on the track is highlighted by warm synths, bright guitars, and punchy drums. Peaking on the song’s narrative, Jayem stated, “This part of the story is really about waiting. Waiting to know, waiting for love, even waiting for a text message.
