Long Island, New York-based indie-pop producer and songwriter, Teena, has dropped her latest single and it’ll leave you seeing “Rainbows.” This track is a fun and bouncy song driven by the funkiest of basslines, old school synths, and energetic drums, which set the tone for Teena’s lush vocals. “Rainbows” details the emotions of catching feeling for someone at first sight as told from the perspective of a queer woman. Teena explained her inspiration behind the song stating, “’Rainbows’ is about gushing over someone you just met. Having a crush is so much fun! This song explores the feeling of that dopamine fix in a new flirtationship. I also really wanted to release this song for pride month. It’s groovy and it’s exciting!”
