Posted on May 24, 2024May 24, 2024 By James Kerr

Nashville, Tennessee-based post-punk band Chapel of Roses makes their triumphant return with their new single “Cast out to Sea”. Chapel is an indie band consisting of members, Chris E. Kelley (vocals/guitars/keys), Houston Greer (guitar), Preach Rutherford (bass), Colin Parker (drums), and Jim T. Graham (lap steel). After a long hiatus, the band has reformed to release a new single “Cast out to Sea”. This mesmerizing jam blends elements of alternative rock, dream pop, and post-punk. Dusty guitar riffs, driving bass, and bold drums immerse the listener in a transformative soundscape. Dreamy vocals lend a perfect compliment to the hazy instrumentation as they present a narrative of rebirth after being cast away. Chapel of Roses new single “Cast out to Sea” is an enlivening alternative rock hit and the perfect addition to any indie playlist.
