Darling Gails – Gunk

Posted on July 29, 2024July 29, 2024 By James Kerr

San Juan, Puerto Rico and Frederick, Maryland-based hyperpop group Darling Gails present their sophomore album, Gunk. Darling Gails is an indie duo consisting of members, Bella Luxury (producer) and Jason Diaz (songwriter/vocals). The two exploded onto the scene in 2023 with their highly-acclaimed debut album, Chesta. The pair have rode that wave of success and have quickly dropped their follow up, Gunk. This 15-track project blends elements of hyperpop, dark pop, and glitch. Jittery synths, pulsating bass, and hard-hitting industrial drums lure the listener into an immersive musical journey. The combination of innovative production and imaginative lyricism takes the mind on a psychedelic thrill-ride. Darling Gails’ new album, Gunk, is a captivating electronic pop banger and the perfect addition to any avant-garde playlist. Learn more about Darling Gails on their official website and listen to Gunk below.

Gunk by Darling Gails was released to digital streaming platforms on July 19th, 2024 and is now playing on Gaming Beats.
