Kaysien – “Portals”

Posted on August 1, 2022August 1, 2022 By James Kerr

London-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist, Kaysien, open up “Portals” to new musical dimensions on his latest single. This genre-bending track features elements of blues, funk, soul, rock, and pop combined to create a rebellious rhythm. Speaking on “Portals,” Kaysien stated, “For this track, I wanted to generate a feeling of defiant energy, playful belligerence and a sense of respect for life.” Most impressing is the fact that as a solo artist, Kaysien, handles all of the production, arrangement, songwriting, singer, and instrumentation. “Portals” is the perfect addition to any funk, soul, or blues playlist.

“Portals” by Kaysien was released to digital streaming platforms on June 24th, 2022 and is now playing on Funk’s Not Dead.
