Ginko Bugs – “Close In October”

Posted on November 4, 2024November 4, 2024 By James Kerr

Brottby, Sweden-based power pop band Ginko Bugs present their new single “Close In October.” Ginko Bugs is a dynamic international band consisting of members, Lieutenant Bo Biloba (vocals/guitar), Sargent Peter (drums), Private Tom (lead guitar), Private Key Winder (keys), and Private Barnabass (bass), that release their debut self-titled album in 2020. Their latest release “Close In October” is a sensational love song that blends elements of soft rock, power pop, and indie. Comforting acoustic guitar, sweeping strings, smooth bass, and vivid drums immerse the listener in a soothing soundscape. Nostalgic vocals reflect upon the passage of time, lost connections, and uncertainty of the future. The song expresses the need to take life as it comes and explore every opportunity as if it were the last. Ginko Bugs’ new single “Close In October” is a wondrous tune and the perfect addition to any acoustic rock playlist. Learn more about Ginko Bugs on Instagram and listen to “Close In October” below.

“Close In October” by Ginko Bugs was released to digital streaming platforms on October 13th, 2024, and is now playing on Senocular Top Picks.
