His latest release, Time To Rise, is a compelling 9-track project that blends elements of contemporary pop, alt-folk, and indie pop. The album provides the listener with rich multi-textural soundscapes courtesy of featuring musicians, Rob Dominis (keys), Niklas Mansner (guitar), Thomas Törnroos (drums), Janne Rajala (bass), Kalevi Louhivuori (trumpet/piano), Heikki Tuhkanen (trombone), William Suvanne (alto sax), Klaus Suhonen and Doron’s two daughters (backing vocals). Doron delivers soothing vocal performances that lend a perfect complement to the warm instrumentation. The album carries a message of change, with Doran stating, “If someone listens to the album, I’d like them to think “Hey, that’s right, I’d better do something with my life. If I fail, I have to get up and start again!” Doron Karavani’s new album, Time To Rise, is a transformative musical journey and the perfect addition to any contemporary playlist.
