Joe Hodgson – “Since You Had A Hold On Me / Stick Or Twist”

Posted on May 15, 2025May 15, 2025 By James Kerr

Ballymagorry, Ireland-based guitarist Joe Hodgson presents his new double single, “Since You Had A Hold On Me / Stick Or Twist.” Joe Hodgson is an accomplished guitarist who recently made waves with his single, “The Grass Is Greener / Shapeshifting.” His latest release, “Since You Had A Hold On Me / Stick Or Twist,” is another splendid double A-side that blends elements of blues, classic rock, and rhythm and blues. The screaming guitars, wailing organs, and sly bass licks of “Since You Had A Hold On Me” immerse the listener in a smoky soundscape. A gruff vocal performance from vocalist Glen Harkin lends a rugged dynamic to the instrumentation. The second track, “Stick Or Twist,” is an electrifying instrumental jam fueled by intricate guitar riffs and blasting horns. Joe Hodgson’s new release, “Since You Had A Hold On Me / Stick Or Twist,” is a dynamic rock experience and the perfect addition to any blues rock playlist. Learn more about Joe Hodgson on his official website and listen to “Since You Had A Hold On Me / Stick Or Twist” below.

“Since You Had A Hold On Me / Stick Or Twist” by Joe Hodgson was released to digital streaming platforms on May 9th, 2025, and is now playing on Indie Rock Hits.
