Omaha, Nebraska-based rock artist Kilravock has unleashed their new EP, Tyranny of the Clock. Kilravock is the brainchild of musician Steve Smith, who recently burst onto the scene with their double A-side, “Incompatibility/Working Class Hero.” His latest release, Tyranny of the Clock, is a six-track project that blends elements of stoner rock, post-punk, and grunge. Brooding guitars, propelling bass, and crisp drums immerse the listener in an array of sludgy soundscapes. The project explores political messages, including workers’ rights, pro-union, and anti-work concepts, told from the perspective of a neurodivergent person who has been an outcast at work and in society. The EP sets up the forthcoming release of Kilravock’s upcoming album, Just Another Wonderful Day. Kilravock’s new EP, Tyranny of the Clock, is a poignant rock experience and the perfect addition to any alternative playlist.
