Bath, England-based hip-hop artist Blak-Ram has dropped his new single, “Blood Gold.” Blak Ram is a talented rapper who burst onto the scene in 2019 with his debut EP, #Make Sudan Great Again. His latest release, “Blood Gold,” is a powerful track that blends elements of hip-hop, political rap, and boom-bap. Orchestral elements, booming bass, and crispy drum breaks immerse the listener in a thoughtful soundscape. The emcee delivers sharp lyrics that aim to highlight the political issues currently facing Sudan. The track reveals the role of the United Arab Emirates in Sudan’s devastating war, particularly through illegal gold smuggling and arms trafficking to the Rapid Support Forces.
