Amsterdam, Netherlands-based indie artist, Naomi Pacifique, delivers the third single from her upcoming album with the single, “I had wanted to hold you.” Naomi Pacifique is a Swiss-Dutch musician, filmmaker, and poet, who after studying creative writing at Oxford University and filmmaking at London Film School, released her debut single, “comment font-ils,” in 2021. Her latest single, “I had wanted to hold,” is a smooth dream pop experience which bases the flow of each instrument and sound on the flow of water. This results in a hypnotic journey of sounds, giving the song a fluid motion and improvisational feeling. “I had wanted to hold,” is the third single leading up to Naomi’s 2023 album, look, the wind is coming for us. Naomi Pacifique’s latest single, “I had wanted to hold,” is a glistening dream-pop experience and the perfect addition to any indie-pop playlist.
