Amsterdam, Netherlands-based indie artist, Naomi Pacifique, delivers the third single from her upcoming album with the single, “I had wanted to hold you.” Naomi Pacifique is a Swiss-Dutch musician, filmmaker, and poet, who after studying creative writing at Oxford University and filmmaking at London Film School, released her debut single, “comment font-ils,” in 2021. Her latest single, “I had wanted to hold,” is a smooth dream pop experience which bases the flow of each instrument and sound on the flow of water. This results in a hypnotic journey of sounds, giving the song a fluid motion and improvisational feeling. “I had wanted to hold,” is the third single leading up to Naomi’s 2023 album, look, the wind is coming for us.
