Satellite Train – “Lies”

Melbourne, Australia-based super group, Satellite Train, deliver their second single with the song, “Lies.” Satellite Train is a band that started as a side project between friends and grew into it’s own entity formed in 2022 by members Michael Paynter (Icehouse),Gregg Bisonnete (Ringo Starr), John McCall (The Black Sorrows), Randy Jacobs (Paul Kelly), Shane O’Mara (Paul Kelly), Pasquale Monea of (Stephen Cummings), Jamie Muhoberac (John Mayer) and Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addicton). Their single, “Lies,” is a power-pop anthem with folk-rock vibes. The track features twangy guitars, galloping rhythms, and a dreamy vocal performance with lyrics meant to call out the lies and requesting truth. Satellite Train’s new single, “Lies,” is a thoughtful power-pop/country hybrid and the perfect addition to any soft rock playlist.
