Cesena, Italy-based indie-rock band, Merrymount!, deliver their first single of 2022 with the song, “The State I’m In.” Merrymount is an alt-pop band formed by members, Alessandro Fagioli (Vocals, Guitar), Andrea Lucchi (Vocals, Guitar, Synths), Pier Nicola Currà (Bass, Synths), and Daniele Traschitti
(Drums), who released their debut album, Heart of Universe, in 2018. Despite living in different cities, the band has returned with their new single, “The State I’m In,” which is lead by spacey synths, shoegaze guitars, and moody vocals. The song fuses folk vibes with dark synth pop, creating a unique atmosphere of cinematic space rock.
