JUNK – “They Call me Old Man”

Posted on February 22, 2023February 22, 2023 By James Kerr

San Diego, California-based rap group, JUNK, follows up their EP, Chromatose, with the new single, “They Call me Old Man.” JUNK is a hip-hop/funk band who released their debut single, “Chromatose,” in 2022. Their latest single, “They Call Me Old Man,” is a funky hip-hop track fused with jazz and soul. The production encompasses funky bass, booming-808’s, and huge sax melodies, which set the groove for the hip-hop style verses in which JUNK takes on ageism and shows why you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. The smooth hooks show that even an old man can still have soul. JUNK’s new single, “The Call me Old Man,” is a genre-bending banger and the perfect addition to any trip-hop or funk playlist.

“They Call me Old Man” by JUNK was released to digital streaming platforms on February 3rd, 2023 and is now playing on Rap Bangers.
