Vienna-based musical-duo, My Friend The Chimpanzee, are back at it with their second single, “I Love This Place.” My Friend The Chimpanzee is composed of Josef Umschaid (drums and fx) and Lukas Wieser (strings and synths), who began their collaborations in Lukas’ former rock band, and continued creating together as a duo. “I Love This Place” is an indie-rock anthem backed by elements of hyperpop and trap which creates a unique sound with high energy. The vocals on the track build an eerie tension within the song’s cinematic soundscape and creates unpredictability within itself.
