Dominican Republic-based audiovisual production team, Estación Sub_Trópico, are making “Contacto” with their latest single. Characterized by the “tumbao” of the Dominican tambora, this track is a combination of minimal and deep house infused with native Dominican music. Composed of Marlene Mercedes and Carlos Monción and the musical end, and Ivan Herrera as the visual artist and film director, Estación Sub_Trópico have created a unique audiovisual language that is already part of Dominican spiritual art and folklore.
