Sonomancer x Martha Goddard – “Digital Graves”

Posted on May 6, 2022May 6, 2022 By James Kerr

Melbourne-based producer, Sonomancer, and Martha Goddard mourn over “Digital Graves” with their latest collaboration. The dark production of Sonomancer and the eerie vocals from Martha Goddard blend to set the tone of the track which was inspired by Sonomancer reaching out to a friend online, to discover that they had recently passed. “Digital Graves” is a song about grieving in a digital era and memories which can be reflected upon over social media. This concept is one we have all become familiar with, but is not often expressed through music due to the relative newness of this collective experience. The experimental sonics of this track leave the listener reflecting, and wanting answers, stimulated by the broadening soundscapes.

“Digital Graves” by Sonomancer and Martha Goddard was released to digital streaming platforms on December 17th, 2021 and is now playing on Ready Player One?: Gamer Beats.
