Manchester, United Kingdom-based indie-pop band, Church Party, returns with the new single, “Back In The Room.” Church Party is an indie band consisting of members, Matt Downes (guitar), Michael Copp (drums), Richard Stewart (bass and backing vocals), and Tommy Stewart (guitar and lead vocals). Their new single, “Back In The Room,” is a funky pop rock jam characterized by wailing guitars, ruggedly groovy bass, and punchy percussion. “Back In The Room” is the first single from Church Party’s upcoming debut EP, Cut The Colours, which chronicles lead singer Tommy’s struggles with mental health and substance abuse, which at one point broke up the band, and his path to recovery. Church Party’s new release, “Back In The Room,” is a funky alt-rock romp and the perfect addition to any indie playlist.
