Salt Lake City, Utah-based hip-hop project Bad Luck Brigade returns with the new EP, EVERYTHING’S A FUCKING MESS. Bad Luck Brigade is a five-piece band consisting of members, Kilow (vocals/keys), Ikaika (bass), Miles (drums), Walker Aux Percussion), and Forrester (Guitar), who released their debut EP, ANYTHING IN MODERATION, in 2022. Their latest release, EVERYTHING’S A FUCKING MESS, is a six-track project that fuses soul, funk, and jazz into a psychedelic blend of organic hip-hop. The band provides rich instrumentation which Kilow uses as a platform to display vibey bars that blur the lines between hip-hop and soul. Bad Luck Brigade manages to find the perfect blend between retro soul and modern rap while remining true to the golden era of hip-hop.
