Posted on November 5, 2023November 5, 2023 By James Kerr

New York City, New York-based musician David Finck links up with singer, Catherine Russell, and saxophonist, Andy Snitzer, for the new single, “Gentle Journey.” David Finck is a bassist and songwriter who is fresh off of the release of his album, A Beautiful Friendship. One of the highlights of the album is the soulful single, “Gentle Journey.” This track is a contemporary R&B that reminds it’s listeners to take on life easy and enjoy where the ride takes you. The instrumentation on the track features wavy keys, groovy bass, and jazzy percussion that sets the stage for Catherine’s delightfully smooth vocal performance. The vocalist delivers the message that the grass in not always greener on the other side and life’s journey is always better with those you love. Closing out the song is a dazzling tenor sax solo from Andy Snitzer, before dropping back into the chorus for a final time. David Finck’s recent single, “Gentle Journey,” is a relaxing soul experience and the perfect addition to any easy listening playlist.
