Marina & The Kats – “Up, Up”

Posted on March 14, 2024March 14, 2024 By James Kerr

Vienna, Austria-based pop group Marina & The Kats present their new single “Up, Up”. Marina & The Kats is an indie band who released the highly-acclaimed album, Different, in 2021. Their latest release “Up, Up” is a pop romp that blends elements of soul, rock, and contemporary swings. Wavy guitar riffs, groovy bass licks, and stiff drums present a care-free energy and an electrifying atmosphere. Marina delivers a soulful vocal performance packed with fiery attitude. Lyrically, the song reminds the listener how freeing it can be to throw up the middle fingers up with a blasé mentality. Marina & The Kats’ new single “Up, Up” is an empowering pop anthem and the perfect addition to any indie playlist.
