New York City, New York-based jazz artist Ultrablue returns with his dazzling new single “Herbie”. Ultrablue is the brainchild of talented pianist, John Smatla, who made waves with his debut self-titled, album, Ultrablue, in 2023. His new release “Herbie” is a stunning composition that blends elements of acid jazz, funk, and lounge. Elegant keys, wailing horns, and intricate rhythms immerse the listener in an upbeat atmosphere. Named for one of jazz music most well-respected pianists, Herbie Hancock, the song is laced with fun-loving grooves and captivating melodies. The return of Ultrablue leaves us eagerly awaiting their upcoming album, New York Stories. Ultrablue’s new single “Herbie” is a delightful jazz romp and the perfect addition to any lounge playlist.
