Paris, France-based folk band The Communal Well returns with the new EP, Bound to Break. The Communal Well is a band who released their highly-acclaimed debut album, Under A Western Sky, in 2013. Their latest release, Bound to Break, is a 3-track project that blends elements of Americana, folk, and soft rock. The EP kicks off with the titled track “Bound to Break” which is a rugged folk rock jam that presents a narrative around relationships that were not meant to last. “Mexico” is a dusty Americana track told from a place of isolation an regret. The project closes with the soft rock song, “Cory”, which delivers a message of perseverance and moving on from the past.
