Captain Blistermint – “The Ladder”

Posted on May 12, 2025May 12, 2025 By James Kerr

Auckland, New Zealand-based indie rock band Captain Blistermint has unveiled their new single, “The Ladder.” Captain Blistermint is an emerging band that burst onto the scene in 2022 with their debut single, “My Quantum Girl.” Their latest release, “The Ladder,” is an uplifting tune that blends elements of 90s rock, indie, and adult-oriented rock. Crunchy guitar riffs, groovy bass licks, and propulsive drums immerse the listener in a nostalgic soundscape. Soaring vocals fly alongside the instrumentation with an elevating tone. The result is a sensational exploration of two people in love and the ups and downs of connection, loss, and finding hope together. Captain Blistermint’s new single, “The Ladder,” is a spectacular glimpse into the band’s upcoming EP and the perfect addition to any indie playlist. “The Ladder” by Captain Blistermint was released to digital streaming platforms on May 5th, 2025, and is now playing on Indie Rock Hits.
