Posted on September 10, 2022September 10, 2022 By James Kerr

Nashville, Tennessee-based purple-haired pop goddess, Anastasia Elliot, takes us to the “Masquerade” with her new single. Anastasia Elliot is an accomplished indie art pop musician and visual artist. Her song, “Masquerade,” is an operatic anthem with indie rock and dark pop vibes. Backing the incredible vocal range of Anastasia Elliot is instrumentation of epic proportions centered around rugged power ballad styles guitar, dramatic piano melodies, and pounding drums. “Masquerade” is a call for the listener to remove their metaphorical mask and reveal their true selves. Speaking on the song’s concept, Anastasia stated, “It is a commentary on desiring authenticity from others. Whether in relationships, friendships or in our current social media, celebrity and influencer culture. We are always navigating the “masquerade” of the world and trying to figure out what is real and what is fake.” Anastasia Elliot’s “Masquerade” is a perfect addition to any indie rock or art pop playlist.
