Rob Lea – “Freak”

Posted on September 16, 2022September 16, 2022 By James Kerr

Blackpool, United Kingdom-based singer/songwriter, Rob Lea, makes it clear that he is a “Freak” with his latest single. Rob Lea is a multi-instrumentalist who had been working in a Queen tribute band until the pandemic struck, at which point he began focusing on his writing own music. He began releasing music in 2022 and “Freak” is his 3rd single release of the year. This song features rugged guitar riffs, energizing effects, and stiff drums. Rob Lea’s powerful vocals express his unique individuality. Speaking on the song, Rob said, “This song is all about celebrating what makes you slightly different from the norm. It’s about sticking a middle finger up at anyone who says you are less than perfect.” Rob Lea’s single, “Freak,” is nice blend of indie pop rock fused with blues and classic rock making it the perfect addition to any indie rock playlist.
