Energy Whores – “Electric Friends”

Posted on November 25, 2025November 25, 2025 By James Kerr

New York City-based electronic pop artist Energy Whores has unveiled their new single, “Electric Friends.” Energy Whores is an innovative musical project that recently made waves with their hit single, “Pretty Sparkly Things.” Their latest release, “Electric Friends,” is a compelling track that blends elements of synth pop, chillwave, and electronic pop. Glistening synth, lush pads, and glitchy rhythms immerse the listener in a cyberwave soundscape. Digitally enhanced vocals spark through the instrumentation with a robotic tone. The song reflects on the current state of isolation that society faces due to the increasing availability of technology-based dopamine. Energy Whore’s new single, “Electric Friends,” is a ruminating electric pop hit and the perfect addition to any chillwave playlist. Learn more about Energy Whores on Bandcamp and listen to “Electric Friends” below.

“Electric Friends” by Energy Whores was released to digital streaming platforms on September 26th, 2025, and is now playing on Indie Pop Hits.
