Deep Talk – “If I Said I was Changing”

Posted on October 20, 2022October 20, 2022 By James Kerr

American West Coast-based indie-pop band, Deep Talk, deliver their forth single of 2022 with the song, “If I Said I Was Changing.” Deep Talk is a alt-pop duo composed of San Francisco-based singer/songwriter, Christina Li, and Portland-based musician, Jordan Maslov, who send session files back and forth until a song is complete. Their latest single, “If I Said I Was Changing,” is a rambunctious, melodic pop-rock jam with bright guitars and grungy vocals. Highlighted by vulnerable lyrics and rugged riffs, both musicians deliver an emotionally gripping and cohesive performance despite the miles between them. Deep Talk’s latest single, “If I Said I Was Changing,” is a catchy indie-rock song with eerie dark-pop vibes, and the perfect addition to any indie-pop or pop-rock playlist.

“If I Said I Was Changing” by Deep Talk was released to digital streaming platforms on October 14th, 2022 and is now playing on Senocular Top Picks.
