iHATEJON – “iGOTME”

Posted on March 13, 2022March 13, 2022 By James Kerr

Alternative hip-hop artist from Shelby, North Carolina, iHATEJON, searches for self-love on his latest single, “iGOTME.” With production featuring a somber piano loop, atmospheric synths, and snappy drums, this tracks captures the listeners attention as an emotional journey of self-retrospect. The 23-year-old takes inspiration from artists such as J Cole, Mac Miller, Dominic Fike, and Lil Peep. iHATEJON made this track as way to get himself through a recent breakup. In the time following the breakup, he had gone through a period of understanding that his dependency on his former partner was unhealthy, and he began his path towards self-love. “iGOTME” follows the story of that path.

“iGOTME” by iHATEJON was released to digital streaming platforms on February 14th, 2022 and is now streaming on Senocular Media’s Lyrical Lemonade.
