Posted on February 27, 2023February 27, 2023 By James Kerr

New York City, New York-based indie rock band, Occurrence, delivers their second single of 2023 with the spacey song, “Universe Moves So Fast.” Occurrence is a synth rock band composed of members, Ken Urban (electronics), Cat Hollyer (vocals), and Johnny Hager (vocals), who released their debut album, The Past Will Live Forever, in 2016. Their latest single, which features actor, Peter Mark Kendall, on the guitar, is called “Universe Moves So Fast” It is based off of the Spanish saying, “inocente palomita que te dejaste engañar,” which translates to “naïve little pigeon, you’ve let yourself be fooled. The song encompasses gritty synths, dusty guitar, and rugged percussion which sets the dark tone for the melancholy lyrics and vocal performance. Occurrence’s latest single, “Universe Moves So Fast,” is a certified dark pop banger and the perfect addition to any indie playlist.
