Los Angeles, California-based rock band Zen Bunny Collective delivers their debut single “Funky America 9/38”. Zen Bunny Collective is a musical duo consisting of members, Richard Berger (Composer/Arranger/Poet) and Solomon Hamburg (Guitar). Their debut single “Funky America 9/38” is an edgy romp that blends elements of blues, classic rock, and Americana. The instrumentation on the track is fueled by twangy guitars, groovy bass, and stiff drums that present a nostalgic vibe. Richard’s gruff vocal performance reflects on the state of American society. From politics to cancel culture, the song’s lyrics paint a vivid picture of the funky smell that has lingered in our country.
